Milestones and progress

Our progress over time

2021 Nov

IFP is developing a QNX-based data distribution system for safety-critical real-time applications.

2018 May

IFP receives the "Innovative through Research" seal from the Stifterverband.

2016 Oct

The results of the dynamic testing technology research project for fault diagnosis and acceptance of complex systems, particularly missiles, are now available.

2015 Jun

IFP develops a hardware and software-based, dynamic testing technology for fault diagnosis and acceptance of complex systems, in particular rockets (rocket test bench).

2014 Aug

IFP redevelops the missile simulator RakSim on the basis of PC 104 Express.

2013 Nov

IFP develops LAR measuring box for the LAR rocket type.

2013 Nov

IFP is updating the Linux kernel previously used in the CX22 from 2.6 to 3.11 in order to make better use of Linux bonding technology (link aggregation). This will increase the performance of the CX22.

2013 Feb

IFP adapts the simulator environment for the LAR rocket type and takes the ignition current curve into account.

2011 Aug

IFP is developing a system of hardware and software to simulate cable breaks in the cabling of a rocket launcher for training purposes.

2011 Jun

IFP reassembles the components of the PC 104 stack of the LCU of a weapon system from modern building blocks.

2011 Jan

IFP carries out maintenance work on the CX 22 interface card (Invensys) and expands the existing missile simulator with the ability to remotely manipulate all 12 simulated missiles.

2009 Jul

On behalf of Airbus Defence & Space (formerly EADS Defence & Security) (Immenstaad), ifp is developing hardware for the secure storage and transfer of a GPS software key.

2009 Jan

On behalf of Airbus Defence & Space (formerly EADS Defence & Security), ifp is developing a tool for recording the data traffic between a launcher control unit of a missile launcher and the missiles.

2008 Sep

On behalf of Airbus Defence & Space (formerly EADS Defence & Security), ifp is developing an algorithm for tracking GPS satellites and predicting their visibility.

2008 Jan

On behalf of Invensys, ifp is developing an interface card for a process control system for the chemical industry.

2008 Jan

On behalf of Airbus Defence & Space (formerly EADS Defence & Security) (Immenstaad), ifp is developing an intelligent Ethernet HUB.

2006 Apr

In April 2006, the first successful launch of a GPS-guided rocket in Europe took place at Cape San Lorenzo in Sardinia.
