At Ingenieurbüro für Prozessautomatisierung (ifp), we specialize in comprehensive services related to the automation of technical processes. One focus of our work is the analysis of production, measurement and control processes, the optimization of these processes and the implementation of the knowledge gained in customer or task-specific hardware and software solutions. We take on these tasks as complete solutions or as partial solutions as part of your company’s own development tasks. And as a small team of specialists, we don’t have to deal with cumbersome communication channels, so our energy is focused exclusively on solving your problems.

Standard solutions often involve compromises. On the one hand, they may offer a superficial cost advantage, but they are usually only the second choice for technical processes with many variants. Every automation process requires a deep dive into the subject matter and requires precise knowledge and mastery of the environment. Whether entity-relationship, DFD, state-transition diagrams, Petri nets, SD or UML, all these methods make task definition, project planning, programming and ultimately the software transparent and maintainable. Your specialists or we will appreciate this transparency at the latest when the programs are extended, adapted or modified. And if special circumstances make it necessary, we also use the “Bundeswehr procedure model” as a guide for the project process.
